A massive well done to our Under-12s girls at Ballon Dor today 👏⚽ The girls were up against some fantastic teams and both squads did brilliantly to reach the semi-finals, an incredible achievement to be proud of! Unfortunately, we narrowly lost out to Aston Villa and Luton Town, but there is absolutely no shame in that. These moments are all part of the journey. Every game is an opportunity to learn, to develop, and to showcase the incredible skill set these girls are building week in, week out. I truly hope the girls had an amazing experience today, tournaments like this are what help shape strong, confident players. We go again. We learn from today. What a fantastic experience for our Under 8s and Under 9s at the 3v3 tournament at Palace today 🔥 It was a very competitive environment with some excellent levels of talent on display. Massive lessons learned especially around transitioning from attack to defence and defence to attack. These are the moments that help the boys grow and really understand the game. So many positive takeaways and an amazing experience overall. We’re looking forward to doing it all again very soon and now all eyes on the next tournament coming up on Thursday. Another great day over at Merky FC headquarters competing in the CSA Winners Only Tournament. We had our Under-10s and Under-12s in action today and once again, plenty of lessons learned. At this level, it’s all about: • Quick bursts to the ball • Sharp reactions • Fast head movement • Being technically switched on The standard was very strong, and these tournaments are never easy.
